End product
The end products per group are:
a poster OR a video.
an evaluation
a poster OR a video.
- This shows at least the in step 11 mentioned set of three steps (4,5,6) in one punnet square (or five/six steps for BioHL, from which four (4,5,6,9) in one punnet square and the other two (8, 10) in separate small ones).
- A justified conclusion for step 12 is expected to be visible as well.
- Your work will be assessed on creativity and accuracy (see the appendix for the rubric).
- Make sure your poster or video shows all possible phenotypes for the offspring with a chance of that phenotype showing up (use percentages).
- You present the products together during a symposium.
- Grading will take place partially based on peer assessment; a link to an online assessment form can be found on ManageBac and in the appendix to this WebQuest.
an evaluation
- The evaluation needs to highlight both your development as a natural scientist as well as your experiences on how the different Areas of Knowledge clash in this situation for you. For this part of the WebQuest you would go back to the aims before you start writing.
- The work will also reach your ToK teacher, who can choose to use the material in class.
