The colour of the coat is regulated by three different alleles. The first one is allele k, which codes for a brown coat. The colours dark green and white are coded for by respectively alleles Kg and Kw. These alleles dominate the k-allele, but work together incomplete dominantly to produce an intermediate phenotype. Yan shows this phenotype and is light green. Sin, on the other hand, is snow white and fully homozygous for this characteristic.
